Sail into the abyss of luxury

The first ships to sail the frozen waters were Spartan affairs – built from cast-iron and wood, with the adventurers sleeping on hammocks, wrapped up against the cold. But those days are long past. You are travelling with The Q. And just because we are going to the end of the earth doesn’t mean we compromise on modern conveniences.

You will take to sea on The Majestic Explorer – a sleek, gorgeous yacht, unlike anything you would expect to be braving the Antarctic waters. Unlike most giant, impersonal cruise liners, The Majestic Explorer preserves the intimacy of an exploring vessel, with just 132 elegant staterooms and suites. The interiors bring together the warm tones of natural wood with chic, airy greys and whites, reminiscent of the French Riviera. The French touch is no accident- the interiors have been designed by the French virtuoso interior designer Jean Philippe Nuel himself.

The Gastronomy

When it comes to the cuisine on board, you’ll be spoilt for choice. In keeping with our stature as a premiere Indian luxury travel firm, we’ll have a Michelin-starred Indian chef curating the service. We have also partnered with Ducasse Conseil , a catering centre of excellence run by Alain Ducasse Enterprise to enhance your dining experience.

You’ll have two stellar options to choose from- the sophisticated Gastronomic restaurant on Deck 6, and the more casual poolside restaurant serving inspired cuisine and themed buffets. And if you’d like a more intimate meal in your stateroom, well, that can be easily arranged. These are just some of the other little things that will make your voyage to the land of ice, shall we say – unusual.
